The Battalion has been pleased to accept into its safe-keeping the Company Colour of the former 1st Peterhead Company which closed many years ago. The Company was attached to the Muckle Kirk whose representatives entrusted the Colour.

All in the Battalion will have fond memories of the late Bill Simpson, who was our last connection to the 1st Peterhead; a former Captain of that Company and oracle to the Buchan Battalion.
