The 1st Strichen will host the Buchan Battalion Chess and Draughts competition on Friday 25th March at the Ritchie Hall, Strichen.
To enter Companies must register Boys and Girls via email.
Details have been sent out by the Battalion Secretary. The competition will be for Juniors, Company Section and Seniors.
This evening the 1st Fraserburgh Company hosted the Company and Seniors Buchan Battalion Basketball Competition!
The first face-to-face competition since March 2020!Five companies were represented tonight and a Girl member participated in a Buchan Battalion Company Section competition for the very first time!

Well Done to Everyone who participated in the Summer Adventures Leaderboard, and a special Well Done to 1st Rosehearty Boys’ Brigade who won overall.
There was great fun had by all 55 Participants from 7 Companies from across the Battalion!!
All participants have been sent out a certificate by email!!
Everyone who entered did a great job with many Under and Over 11’s getting a full 20/20 activities complete

Congratulations to the 1st Strichen & 4th Fraserburgh Junior Sections who are joint winners of the Sid Newlands Memorial Trophy!
This means they have accumulated the most points through the year at Battalion competitions.
It was a very close run thing and we thank the other companies in the battalion for their sense of sportsmanship with the early closing of the competition season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Winning the most points over the year at various competitions it is conceded that even if all the competitions had run as planned their lead was unassailable!
